OS2025 will present the latest experimental, numerical, and theoretical studies on plasma physics and fusion science, including plasma confinement, plasma heating and stability, transport phenomena, direct energy conversion, plasma diagnostics, plasma-wall interactions, applications of mirror plasmas, mirror-based 14-MeV neutron sources, and prospects for mirror-based reactors.

Most participants are recommended to use Narita International Airport, which is the largest international airport in Japan. Haneda Airport is also a good option, which is the largest domestic airport in Japan. Note that Ibaraki Airport is not recommended for accessing Tsukuba.
When entering Japan, it is convenient to use Visit Japan Web. A part of the immigration and customs procedures can be completed in advance.
Whether Narita International Airport or Haneda Airport, taking a bus is the easiest way to Tsukuba. You need to buy a bus ticket at the airport.
5G and 4G cellular networks are available countrywide. eSIMs and SIM cards can be obtained online and at airports, respectively. Note that after arriving in Tsukuba it is difficult to buy SIM cards.
Credit cards are available countrywide, but cash is also frequently used in Tsukuba. The easiest way to get cash is to use an ATM at a convenience store.

Safety tips for travelers
The easiest way to airports is to take a bus from platform 8 at Tsukuba Center. The bus ticket to Narita International Airport can be reserved online or at the bus ticket office using your credit card. You can also board the bus without a reservation, if there are available seats. In this case, you need to pay the fare in cash or with an IC travel card when boarding the bus.
