Collaborations

Bilateral Collaboration in NIFS

Plasma research center, as for the campus, cooperates with the research organization of the domestic and the foreign countries. Basically it strongly cooperates with National Institute of Natural Science, National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) which is an inter university research institute. NIFS promotes a bidirectional model collaboration with each university and each research center. We perform the collaborations in a wide research field such as not only a plasma confinement study including the electric potential that is indispensable for the practical use of the controlled nuclear fusion but also the direct generation or plasma application study. The coworkers from NIFS, Tokoku University, Kyoto University, Kyushu University, Kobe University, and the universities of the whole country are accepted to the collaborative research. Moreover, we held the meetings for the study such as the Japan-U.S. workshop, international conference, and the Tsukuba forum.
